There was a ruckus in Hariharganj’s Community Health Center (CHC) in Jharkhand’s Palamu district after 6 people were wrongly vaccinated against Coronavirus. The police had to intervene in the matter.

After the situation was brought under control, Medical Officer Dr Gopal Prasad sought a written complaint from the concerned beneficiaries.

Those above the age of 18 who took the vaccine included Raunak Kumar, Vivekananda, Hrithik Roshan, Saurabh Kumar, residents of Babandi village of Pipra block. Among these, Raunak and Vivekananda took the first dose in Medininagar and Hrithik and Saurabh at Mazhigaon in Garhwa.

Those above 45-years of age who took the vaccine include Geeta Devi and Sushila Devi, residents of Hariharganj.
In this regard, District Civil Surgeon Dr Anil Kumar Singh said that the above people have accidentally taken Covishield instead of Covaxin.

Despite this, all have been kept under the supervision of the Health Department. He said that according to age and dosage, different queues were created which created confusion.
