Chennai: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall likely in several districts of Tamil Nadu on Saturday.

Considering the Met departments’ prediction, at least 26 districts of the state have declared holiday for school as well as college students, including those in Chennai.

“Tamil Nadu: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur across the state today,” the IMD tweeted on Saturday morning.
