Union ministers thank Rahul Gandhi for Ladakh bike trip
New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi’s pictures from his Ladakh road trip found praise from an unexpected quarter, Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Pralhad Joshi thanked the Congress leader for undertaking the journey and promoting tourism in the Valley.
The two ministers also said that through his road trip, Gandhi had shown that travelling to Ladakh was easier now due to the good roads that were constructed under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi by the BJP government at the Centre. So, the praise was an indirect compliment that the ministers were giving to their own government.
Union Minister of Earth Sciences, Rijiju took to ‘X’ earlier known as Twitter to say, ‘Thanks to Rahul Gandhi for promoting excellent roads of Ladakh built by the Narendra Modi govt. Earlier, he also showcased how Tourism is booming in Kashmir Valley and reminded all that our ‘National Flag’ can be peacefully hoisted at Lal Chowk in Srinagar now!’
